The California State Oriental Medicine Association (CSOMA) would like to remind everyone that student memberships are only $25/year. Student Membership is available to anyone who is enrolled, at least half-time, in a program that is at least one academic year’s duration and is approved by the California Acupuncture Board. Student members may not vote on matters submitted to the membership for vote, including the election of the Board of Directors. Student members are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors if elected but may not serve as officers of the association. Getting involved in professional organizations early is incredibly important to your development as a future acupuncturist. The policy issues of today will affect you when you are practicing in the future.
