Mi-Yung L. Rhee is a licensed acupuncturist who sees patients at her private practice, Healthy Qi & You. Although many of her patients cite stress and pain as chief complaints, she sees each one as an Impressionist painting with layers of colors contributing to an overall health picture that needs to be interpreted and understood. Through shared discovery, learning and healing, Mi-Yung works together with her patients to improve their well-being and empower them to engage in self-care.
Education:
- Masters and Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, ACTCM
Best Advice for Students/New Grads:
- If you don’t have a solid plan for what you’re going to do with your degree (no matter what that degree is in), make sure you have a back-up plan because as COVID has shown, anything can happen. You must be adaptable and resilient (physically, mentally, emotionally) because it’s not easy. Caring for other people will fill you up and drain you at the same time, so make sure you know how to take care of yourself.
