Claudia Venn, MSTCM, L.Ac.
After receiving her Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Claudia has been working with patients, using her understanding of women’s health, Chinese medicine and acupuncture to treat the body as a whole being, and taking into account both physiological and psychological realities. Claudia integrates acupuncture, herbs and medical qi gong to move her patients through the healing process. Her own experience with chronic pain gives her the unique understanding of a patient’s requirements, and the empathy to implicitly understand their needs.
Claudia has worked with experts in the field of pain management, adrenal fatigue, pediatrics, women’s health including: infertility, pre and post-natal care, hormonal balance and pregnancy. She has interned with specialists at the California Pacific Medical Center Stroke and Rehabilitation Unit, Ashby Center for Alternative Medicine, and with mentors: Dr. Robert Zieger and Marti Lee Kennedy DAOM. She currently has a thriving practice, Venn Acupuncture, in Berkeley, California.
