ACTCM has been educating students from diverse backgrounds and experiences for almost half a century—teaching millennia-old traditional Chinese medicine, integrated with modern Western research and training. Students learn to use acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, massage, meditation, exercises, and movement to comprehensively treat chronic pain, illness, disease, trauma, addiction, and fertility.
Now in a world where healthcare means whole-body, patient-centered care, and choice, more and more patients are making informed decisions and choosing acupuncture. Prescribed by medical professionals and now part of many insurance plans, acupuncture is fast-becoming mainstream, not just an “alternative” option.
Our graduates are busy, thriving, and making their marks as Chinese medicine practitioners, researchers, and teachers—in community clinics, holistic businesses and alongside western medical practitioners in prestigious medical centers such as Stanford and UCSF.
We offer four nationally and regionally accredited degree programs taught by passionate teachers who are invested in your professional and personal growth. ACTCM’s merger with CIIS in 2015 has further expanded opportunities in integrative health through multimodal collaborations with the university’s broader mental health and wellness community.
ACTCM is distinguished by the excellence of our programs and faculty, and by the unequaled opportunity we provide our students to explore and grow in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Learn more from our Admissions Teams and get connected with our community!
