Our November module will feature:
- Henry McCann, DAOM, L.Ac., is a faculty member at several different acupuncture schools, including the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and the Cork Institute of Chinese Medicine. In the past, he has served as the president and a board member of the New Jersey Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has over a decade of experience in acupuncture, and specializes in women’s health. Dr. McCann has taught Tung’s acupuncture in the US, Ireland, Holland, Germany and Austria. He is the author of Pricking the Vessels: Bloodletting Therapy in Chinese Medicineand the co-author of Practical Atlas of Tung’s Acupuncture. He maintains a private practice in Madison, NJ. Henry McCann will be teaching Clinic Internship & Case Analysis III (Herbs & Salves) November 9-10, 2018.
- Claudia Citkovitz, PhD, L.Ac., is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on Acupuncture for Labor and Delivery as well as stroke recovery and rehabilitation. She is the director of acupuncture services at NYU Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, where she oversees the delivery of acupuncture therapies and leads acupuncture internships and postgraduate training programs in labor and delivery and neurological rehabilitation for doctoral programs. Her research activities include multiple publications in journals of integrative and conventional medicine. Claudia Citkovitz will be teaching Clinical Internship & Case Analysis I (Stroke) November 9-10, 2018.
- Judith Boice, ND, FABNO, L.Ac., earned a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She then received a master’s degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland. Judith Boice became a member of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) team in December 2011, when she joined Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa as a naturopathic oncology provider. Dr. Boice teaches throughout North America. Widely published, Boice’s books and articles have been read by many since the late ‘80s. In 2009, she received the Nautilus Book Award – Silver Medal and the Living Now Book Award – Bronze Medal. Judith Boice will be teaching Immunology and Oncology on November 11-12, 2018.
This is a great opportunity to learn, connect with students, and also see if the DAOM program is the best fit to deepening your acupuncture practice and knowledge.

When: You can schedule with us a visit between Friday, November 9–Monday, November 12. Classes run from 8:30am–5:30pm. You’re welcome to attend a full day of class (recommended) or drop in for any portion of the weekend module.
