The ACTCM Acupuncture and Herbal Clinics are community-oriented teaching clinics that have been treating patients for almost 40 years. Our ACTCM clinical interns are in the final phase of a rigorous four-year program taught by experts in traditional Chinese medicine healing techniques. Interns treat patients under the direct supervision of clinical faculty who are California licensed acupuncturists. They are extensively trained practitioners who have been selected for their expertise, areas of specialty, experience working in holistic medicine, and thorough knowledge of today’s health conditions. Our teaching clinics have been recognized for excellence in patient care and named “Best of the Bay” in service. We welcome those in need of holistic healthcare regardless of ethnicity, gender identification, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, and citizenship status.
Services we offer: acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, tui na/shiatsu massage, herbal prescription

The merger of ACTCM with CIIS in 2015 has helped us further our goal of offering integrative, holistic healing to our Bay Area communities. The Ear Clinic acupuncture interns at CIIS are under the supervision of Joey Bennett, L.Ac on Mondays and Scott Phelps, LAc. on Fridays. Treatments are free, but there is a suggested donation of $5-10 per session. Parking is strictly metered street parking or at nearby parking garages on 10th Street. The nearest bus lines servicing our SOMA location is the 9, 9R, 14, and 47.
