of Traditional Chinese Medicine is currently approved to offer a professional
Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine degree under the
California Education Code 94310.2 as overseen by the Bureau of Private
Postsecondary and Vocational Education within the Department of Consumer
Affairs. Through approval of the California Acupuncture Board, graduates
of ACTCM are eligible to sit for the California licensing examination
for acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Eligible students may sit for
the examination of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine. American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
is also approved by the California the Board of Registered Nursing
as a provider of continuing education for licensed acupuncturists
and registered nurses under the California Business and Professions
Code. The
Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine degree program
of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is accredited
by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
(ACAOM). ACAOM is the recognized accrediting agency for the approval
of programs preparing acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners.
