Advising
ACTCM provides individualized support for students as they plan their course of study and progression through the program. ACTCM’s Academic Advising Department consists of two advisors, both of whom are alumni of ACTCM, and have a broad perspective on students’ needs as well as academic requirements of the MSTCM program.
Each quarter, an Academic Advisor is available to assist students in planning their schedule for the next quarter. This advising period is mandatory for new students. Available appointments are posted outside the Student Services office just before the advising period opens.
Students are also welcome and encouraged to discuss academic or professional issues at any time with the academic advisors, Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Dean of Clinical Education, or the Director of Student Affairs—all of whom maintain an “open door” policy.
