Our Faculty
ACTCM has assembled a distinguished group of faculty members who are committed educators with demonstrated expertise in their field. Nearly all of the licensed acupuncturists, naturopaths and physicians on the ACTCM faculty are also practicing clinicians who bring their real-life professional experience into the classroom and clinic.
Our faculty have been carefully selected for their vast clinical experience and knowledge of TCM, as well as for their ability to transfer this information and skill to students. Our faculty consist of both Western- and Chinese-trained practitioners who have experience working in integrative medicine and the understanding necessary for dealing with the health problems of today’s modern society.
Generally, didactic faculty have at least ten years of experience in the field, while our clinical supervisors have at least five years of experience. A recent audit of our current faculty revealed that our instructors have been in practice for an average of 20 years. This level of experience is what adds incredible value to the classroom experience at ACTCM.
The college ranks faculty members according to whether they are Core or Adjunct. Core faculty may be either full time (FT) or part-time (PT), and teach at the college on an ongoing basis. Adjunct faculty are part-time instructors who teach certain courses periodically. Current faculty members can be found by clicking on the links to your left, along with information on their educational credentials, professional experience, rank and the courses they teach.
